ABOUT THE THEME

The modern VILLAGE ON THE HILL outdoor sculpture/artwork will be a symbol and representation of the church embracing the meaning of PINNACLE VILLAGE (loving God with your heart, mind, soul, strength) and being on the HILL (a city on a hill can’t be hidden).

A VILLAGE ON THE HILL is visible, it goes out and serves as light of the world that experiences darkness, making an impact, inspiring people to live and leading many to a more vibrant relationship with God.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:

Matthew 22:37-39 (NLV)
37 Jesus said to him, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest of the Laws. 39 The second is like it, ‘You must love your neighbor as you love yourself.’

Matthew 5:13-16 (NLV)
13 “You are the salt of the earth. If salt loses its taste, how can it be made to taste like salt again? It is no good. It is thrown away and people walk on it. 14 You are the light of the world. You cannot hide a city that is on a mountain. 15 Men do not light a lamp and put it under a basket. They put it on a table so it gives light to all in the house. 16 Let your light shine in front of men. Then they will see the good things you do and will honor your Father Who is in heaven.
